Activity Service Charges:

PERSONAL NOW ACCOUNT
Bank of Houston offers you a personal NOW account with:

$200.00 opening deposit
No monthly service charge for accounts maintaining an average collected
balance of $1,500.00 or more.
Interest is compounded monthly. Interest is paid on the statement cycle
date. The interest rate may change at any time.
Activity Service Charges:
$10.00 monthly activity service charge if average collected balance falls
below $1,500.00.
MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT
Bank of Houston offers you a personal money market account with:
- Monthly image statement
- 24 hour automated customer service
$2,500.00 Opening Deposit
Tiered rate structure. Interest is compounded monthly. Interest is paid on
the statement cycle date. The interest rate may change at any time.
The daily collected balance must exceed $2,500.00 to accrue interest for
that day.
You may only make 6 transfers from your account each month, of which only 3
can be checks to 3rd parties. A $10.00 “per item” fee will be assessed for
each transaction over these limits. Bank of Houston reserves the right to
close or re-classify your account if these limitations are exceeded on a
recurring basis.

STUDENT CHECKING ACCOUNT
Bank of Houston offers you a student checking account with:

$100.00 Opening Deposit
Account to remain in “Student” status for maximum of 5 years from opening
date. Annual proof, such as current student ID is required.
Activity Service Charges:
$10.00 monthly activity service charge. Fee is waived with one of the
following requirements:
A monthly direct deposit to the account or,
A parental banking relationship with Bank of Houston.
PERSONAL SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Bank of Houston offers you a personal savings account with:
- Quarterly account statement
- 24 hour automated customer service
$200.00 Opening Deposit
Activity Service Charges:
$3.00 quarterly service charge if ledger balance falls below $200.00.
6 quarterly withdrawals allowed, $3.00 “per item” fee for each additional
withdrawal.
No ACH debit transactions will be allowed on Savings accounts.
MINOR SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Bank of Houston offers you a minor savings account with:
- Quarterly account statement
- 24 hour automated customer service
- No minimum balance required
- No quarterly service charge
$25.00 Opening Deposit
Activity Charges:
6 quarterly withdrawals allowed, $3.00 “per item” fee for each withdrawal
for each additional withdrawal.
No ACH debit transactions will be allowed on Savings accounts.
A parental banking relationship with Bank of Houston is required to open and
maintain this account.
CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSITS and INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNT
Bank of Houston offers you competitive rates on certificates of deposits and
individual retirement accounts.
- $1,000.00 minimum to open
- Interest can be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or
at maturity
- Penalty for early withdrawal
Certificates of Deposits are offered in terms of 1 month, 3 months, 6
months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months, 30 months, 36 months and 60 months.
IRA Certificates of Deposits are offered in terms of 12 months, 18 months,
24 months, 30 months, 36 months and 60 months.
Important Information about procedures for opening a new account:
Federal Law requires that all financial institutions obtain, verify and
record information that identifies each person who opens an account in order
to help in preventing the funding of terrorism and money laundering
activities. Therefore, when you open an account, be prepared to give your
name, address, date of birth, social security number and other identifying
information that will enable us to verify your identity.
